More hanging around the house taking care of the patient. This week was about comfort and warmth as the degrees took a 30 degree swing toward the chillier end of the thermometer.

I have had this faux wrap top for a while now and I love it. It is super soft and comfortable and it looks nice. It has a fun off white graphic on it that makes a neat splash peaking out of a jacket or sweater.

By the time this posts, my husband should be mostly recovered and putting on his own socks!

With the weather change, I have had the chance to wear some of my closet that I haven't gotten to wear for a while. I am glad about the extra clothes but I am not happy with the DRASTIC change in the weather. We went from mid 70's and 80's to 50's. BRRRR!!! Minnesota has a sick sense of humor. I knew that would happen though. That is why I couldn't wish for the hot weather to go away.

I really need to do something about my hair!!! And I am so ready to be wearing my contacts again! (Laziness!)

This is what I wore on another day of nurse. The long sleeve tee and jeans are very comfy. The leather jacket and boots allow me to look ok when I head to the store for more juice and nilla wafers.

So fur vests are in right now right! Is this one? I found it at the thrift store for like $10. I don't know what it is other than it appears to have been part of a jacket. I think the sleeves must have been zipped off and were not part of the purchase. Is this too much? I must say it is super super warm!



Sorry for the picture quality. It was SUPER windy so I had to watch where I put my camera tripod as it wanted to blow over. That would be BAD NEWS!

I have a meeting about a job on Monday. Hopefully it will go well and I will have outfits to post again. Crossed fingers!

Business Card Holder Battle

My previous boss gave me this cool Kate Spade business card holder for my one year anniversary with the company. Unfortunately that was 1 month before she had to lay me off. Hey, I got Kate Spade out of the deal. Pretty cool as it is something that I would not have purchased for myself but it does up the professional quotient for my work accessories.

It smells soooo good!

That's pretty cool but come on I MADE this one out of fun colored duct tape and I love it too. I might have to assign it a different function other than business card holder as it is pretty rockin'!

Haha! I know it can't compete but it was fun and easy to make and I think maybe my niece would get a kick out of a holder of some sort for her.

Passionate Fashion - Casual Gray

Tshirt and jeans with a pop of color! This is how I should dress for days off. Some comfortable jeans, a nice shirt, and a cute scarf. Put on a rockin leather jacket and some fun shoes and I am ready to roll. Granted I didn't roll far as I wore this to take care of my sick patient.



My husband said I looked like Bono in this picture. I am NOT sure how I feel about that.



My dog, Skylar, always wants in on the photos but she's cute so its alright.
